Let's start with the meeting of the Academic Senate in September 2017 where the new University website was presented, which aims to facilitate communication and readability for users, all this done through the improvement of graphics and the inclusion of "story telling".

The goal is to improve student satisfaction, which at the moment is seven points out of ten. Social media will also be better integrated.

The launch will consist of:

  • homepage update (28 February 2018);
  • second level update (30 June 2018);
  • absorption of polyorientami and international (end of 2018)
  • creation of new sites for departments (on request), schools and poles (2019).

Groups of test students will also be created to verify the optimization of the site.

The change in the publication of the didactic evaluations that are on the personal pageof each professor and are determined by the students with the last question of the questionnaireswe fill out has been put to the vote and approved.

Instead of being expressed through bands of judgments, they will be made public in the form of a numerical average, approximated to the first decimal place.

This thing was asked for a long time by the representatives and we finally managed to get it.

Instead, in the meeting of the Academic Senate in July 2017, the minimum threshold for entry tests of architecture students from countries outside the European Union was eliminated, as established by theministerial directive of reference.

Let's move on to the meetings of the Board of Directors in September 2017,where the calls for 40 theses abroad and the 150-hour call for students of three-year degrees and single-cycle degrees were presented. The latter allows students to perform paid tasks within the Polytechnic for a total of 150 hours per year.

In the June 2017 meeting, on the other hand, the approval of the scholarships for sports meritswas highlighted, financed for € 50,000 by the "Merit Fund" and integrated for about € 50,000 additional from the PolimiRun 2017.

Finally, we would like to talk about the latest updates of the Didactic Council. In June 2017 the topic of innovative teaching and the introduction of anti-plagiarism software for master's theses was discussed. These topics were then addressed in the School Juntas and Course Councils.
